Doggy Dress Up Parade at Camberwell Green

The parade is organised by The London Animal Hospital – a 24hr Vets in Camberwell – part of the ArtsFest Fair organised by Camberwell Arts – a Camberwell arts charity.

Local dog owners participate – by bringing their dogs with costumes made at home (or from the dressing up box at the fair) all in the name of fun and creativity. It is like a costume competition- but for dogs and also where everyone is a winner and everyone gets a rosette.

The theme is The Arts – so the dogs can be dressed as a film character, book character or artist, for example. It is free to attend and really just a bit of fun. The dogs will come along to the fair and parade in their costumes, being led by a bagpiper. Dogs will enjoy the socialisation and feed off the fun of the fair, but we do warn against heavy costumes and tell people that only dogs who enjoy this sort of thing should take part.

Parade starts at 3 – but the dressing up box will be open from 2pm at The London Animal Hospital tent on Camberwell Green.
