Join the Friends of Kennington Park on the bird count

Last year The Friends of Kennington Park took part in the The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) Garden Bird watch and counted numerous pigeons, sparrow, red wings and lots of parakeets. Tomorrow, Saturday 27 January  The Friends take part in the RSPB Garden Bird Watch again. You can join them in the park for the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch.

They will also be handing out survey forms outside the park café from noon until 3pm.

During last year’s Big Birdwatch, around 500,000 people from all over the UK counted more than eight million birds! This year, the survey runs for three days, 27-29 January. So you can take a survey form home and count the birds there too. Or if you want to be an early bird, you can download your own form by clicking.
