We are delighted to announce our programme of Garden Visits for 2019 is now open for bookings! Fascinating days out have been planned to Dorset, Cambridgeshire, Sussex and more, including to gardens not usually open to the public. Visits include guided tours, lunch and refreshments.

This year’s programme includes an exclusive Design Study Day with internationally renowned (and rarely available) landscape architect Kim Wilkie at Vitsoe, an iconic furniture manifacturer founded by Dieter Rams with the ethos to “live better, with less, that lasts longer”.

Savill Garden and Valley Gardens, Windsor

An unrivalled opportunity to gain behind-the-scenes insight into two great, Grade I listed gardens, created by Sir Eric Savill in the 1930s and developed under Royal patronage.

Eastington Farm and Encombe House, Dorset

Duxford Mill and The Bury, Cambridgeshire

A visit to two historic gardens in Cambridgeshire. First, historic Duxford Mill on the River Cam, then to The Bury in the village of Thriplow – a beautifully converted old threshing barn built in 1725, surrounded by parkland and two large walled gardens.

Woolbeding and a Private Garden, West Sussex

Our day will begin with a visit to the wonderful gardens of Woolbeding – an elegant country retreat with views over the River Rother and the rural South Downs. Then a short drive to a substantial private garden, where the summer planting should be in full swing.

Redhill Lodge and Boughton House, Rutland and Northamptonshire

Our day begins in Rutland in the garden of Redhill Lodge. On a hillside overlooking the Welland Valley, the garden features a grass amphitheatre and a spiral-shaped viewing mound. Then onto Boughton House, the Northamptonshire stately home of the Dukes of Buccleuch, to enjoy its expansive landscape.
