Polish Heritage Days 2019 in Lambeth

The Stockwell Partnership and partners are coming together again for annual Polish Heritage Days in May supported by the Polish Embassy in London.

A month of celebrating Polish culture, heritage and community

The programme:

11th May at Wheatsheaf Community Hall
11am – 1pm
Wheatsheaf Lane, London, SW8 2UP
Polish traditional craft workshops for all the family, with an arts and crafts sale and community market. A delicious Polish lunch will be served at noon.

18th May at West Norwood Library
3pm – 4.30pm
1-5 Norwood High Street, London, SE27 9JX
Meet Polish author Weronika Mliczewska, who will talk about her writing and experience of travelling in different cultures. Followed by screening of several short films.

1st – 31st May at Lambeth Archives – Minet Library

Exhibition: Illustrations of post-war Polish community life in South London, by Lambeth-based Polish illustrator Karolina Jonc-Buczek.
