TfL updates – Kennington improvements

From Saturday 26 May until mid-September, Bank branch trains will not stop at Kennington Tube station. The station will remain open for the Charing Cross branch but there will be no interchange between the branches. This is while we carry out essential work to build new passageways between the platforms at Kennington Tube station, in preparation for the Northern Line Extension.

We will be running more frequent, direct trains between Morden and the Charing Cross branch; this means there will be a slightly reduced service on the Bank branch.

The Northern and Victoria lines and some stations are likely to be busier so please avoid the busiest times if you can. Allow extra time for your journey or use alternative routes including Tube, rail, bus, cycling or walking options.
