Join us at the cinema for a screening of The Stuart Hall Project followed by a talk led by Lambeth libraries, which will explore how Hall’s work has hada significant impact on our world view and the UK’s political landscape.

John Akromfrah’s absorbing and emotionally charged documentary tribute looks back on the life and work of Stuart Hall, one of the UK’s leading cultural theorists.

Weaving between the musical archaeology of Hall’s favourite musician, Miles Davis and the twentieth century’s defining political moments, Akomfrah creates an intimate and engaging portrait of Stuart Hall.
